Janice held Gail at gunpoint and handcuffed her, but it was after this point that Janice revealed her true identity as the murderess (having also killed Margot), with the reveal coming after Janice informed Gail that she warned her and told her to do the "right thing": sell her mother's things from the shop. After heading to the greenhouse, Gail saw Margot with her throat slashed, all the while, Janice emerged and ordered Gail to drop the knife, while disbelieving Gail's denial in Margot's murder. ![]() Janice entered the house searching for Margot, while Gail waited, but later on, Gail entered and found Margot's wheelchair knocked over in the house. ![]() The climax saw Gail and Janice heading to the former's home after she informed Janice about her suspicions regarding Margot (who lied about being injured and handicapped to keep her from leaving). Gail ended up encountered by Janice a second time as she was driving away from a confrontation with Tori, as Janice informed Gail that her shop was connected to the murders. The evil madwoman also contacted Gail's best friend, Alexa-who ran the shop in Gail's place, which resulted in Alexa actually placing one of the items up for auction. Stubbs, with Gail visiting Stubbs and learning that he was her father (a fact that Gail's grandmother, and Stubbs' mother, Margot Niven, kept from Gail). The deranged villainess also hinted to Gail her father was a killer, and that he created both of them, only for Gail to deny the sinister caller's statements.įollowing Gail's refusal, the evil Janice continued her spree, and contacted Gail again about a man named G.W. Her introductory scene saw her visit Gail's shop and discuss the acts of vandalism committed against her place of business by a group of teens led by Tori Kelly, but afterwards, Janice left an anonymous phone call to Gail, ordering her to sell some of the products from her shop under the threat of killing once more. ![]() Janice used Gail's murder memorabilia shop as part of her villainous spree, taking items from the shop and possessing them while committing her murders, with the plan being revenge against her half-sister. Janice went on to become a police detective in adulthood, but after finding out about Gail and her familial ties to Stubbs, Janice turned heel and became a serial killer herself. At some point, Janice's mother became one of Stubbs' victims, though he kept his murderous actions hidden from Mary Beth (Gail's mother) until his eventual arrest and conviction. Stubbs, who had another family that resulted in the birth of main protagonist Gail. Janice Roseland's backstory revealed that she was the product of an affair between her mother and serial killer G.W. Janice Roseland (Rosa Gilmore) is the hidden main villainess from the 2021 Lifetime film, Memories of a Murder (alternately titled, Souvenirs airdate May 8, 2021). ![]()
